- Surrealist Photography
Introduction
Surrealism was initiated during the early 20s as a legendary lobby group that experimented with a fresh means of expression known as automatic inscription, or automatism. it sought after liberating the unrestrained imagination of the subliminal. The movement matured chiefly from the former dada association, which prior to first world war fabricated works of anti-art that intentionally disregarded reason; but the prominence of surrealism was no contradiction but on optimistic expression. The faction signified a rejoinder against what its affiliates perceived as the annihilation created by the "rationalism" that had steered European traditions and political affairs in history and that had ended in the dreadfulness of first world war.
Surrealism was officially launched as a movement with the publication of poet Andre Breton's first manifesto of surrealism in 1924. The surrealists did not rely on reasoned analysis or sober calculation; on the contrary, they saw the force of reason blocking the access router to the imagination . heir efforts to tap the creative powers of the unconscious set Breton and his companions on a path that carried them through the territory of dreams, intoxication, chance, sexual ecstasy, and madness. the images obtained by such means, whether visual or literary , were prized precisely to the degree that they capture these moments of psychic intensity in provocative forms of unrestrained, convulsive beauty.
Advantages and Disadvantages of surrealism
Surrealist has the benefit of presenting a response. Surrealism asserts it to be an actuality regarding rearing the planet, a kind of "brute fact", that expandable sculpts are probable for it; it basically refuses to recognize the profound formation which allows such modeling. The major problem with surrealism is that its portrayal of the globe is uncertain resulting to two courses of analysis. For the first analysis, surrealism just informs us what happens at the observational height but it is not expounding. Taking a look at the other analysis, surrealism means the complete outcome program of our assumptions save the assumptions themselves, which is fuzzy as well.

Surreal photo is basically displays of a designer's rich imagination of subjects which then injected into real pictures. Most of these surreal pictures are captivating be it pleasant or not because it is not what we experience in our daily life hence it is out of the norm. Given this, it is not an event we could not possibly experience, it leaves a huge dimension for viewers to interpret what the designer was trying to convey through their work. This is what makes surreal photos a challenge for the designers and in the same time, an awesome adventure for the viewers. Yes, all of that in a picture.
The deep blue sea... in black and white: Photographs from beneath the waves capture the stark beauty of the ocean
Down in the deep blue, a photographer is taking these stunning black and white pictures.
Indonesian snapper Hengki Koentjoro's underwater photographs show an array of sea-life like as it's never been seen before.
He has pictured sharks, jellyfish, scuba divers and, perhaps most strikingly, a hard coral called the 'sunflower mushroom' which appears to be sporting a sinister grin.
